H.A.T.E. (WHY)

I am not usually the one to blog about such things because I am an upfront person and believe in handling situations head on, verbally but I was blown away at a recent event by some of the petty nonsensical actions I observed. Case and point...if you were cool before certain individual arrive to a venue be cool while they are there as well. If you were having a good time enjoying friends/family before certain individuals arrive to a venue continue doing just that...DO YOU! Is there really a reason to show your behind, stepping outside of the box you were in prior to the individual arriving on the scene as well as make inappropriate references to other patrons attending via social networks about their choice of clothing when you yourself were not the best dressed? After seeing and reading these things I have come to realize that there are a LOT of insecure, intimidated, jealous and unhappy folk in this "circle" of life" that I saw on that evening.

Stop pretending to be happy by shouting it all over social networks and visibly "fake" looking happy pictures and actually BE HAPPY! When your actions do not dictate the happiness of which you constantly speak what is the point?

I took the liberty of breaking the word "HATE" down by letter definition. It is SO fitting for this particular group of visibly unhappy individuals:
H - HOSTILITY &
A - AVERSION
T - TOWARDS
E - EVERYONE WHO YOU WISH YOU COULD BE OR BE LIKE!

If you "DO YOU" and be the best you that you can be you don't EVER have to worry about what another person is doing, has done or will do...you will not have the time! I just pray that folk get the picture of how NOT cool these types of actions are and in the future seek to better themselves mentally, emotionally, spiritually and most of all PHYSICALLY!!! Do not throw rocks in a house made of glass...they tend to shatter all around you!

That is all...I feel so much better!

This event is meant to ignite convo between the male & female
dealing with sensitive topics that will help us obtain closure and bridge
the gaps. There will be open discussions, and Q&A sessions as
well as live entertainment provide by local Neo Soul and Spoken word
artist all touching on relationship topics and subject matter.

Each participant will be given a piece of paper at the door where they will be obligated to write down a topic or question that they would like to be discussed during the forum.

They then will drop it in the ceremonial vase in the middle of the room.

There will be one mediator and a panel of free thinkers on stage to shed light on presented topics.

The DJ will cue relationship songs dealing with each topic as the mediator pulls them from the ceremonial vase...

BEING IN LOVE *MAKES YOU THINK*

Think back to when you met that man/woman that you just knew would be
the one. Remember when you realized/admitted to yourself that you loved
him/her. Now remember how much you wanted to act like you were in a
movie, and yell to everyone in the football stadium "I love (fill in the
name)!" You told family and friends how perfect he/she was; he/she was
just what you were looking for.


Well, I told THE LORD that I loved Him today. And He said to me, "How
much do you love me? You haven't told anyone how good I've been to you.
You haven't shared how perfect my love is. You haven't spread the good
news that I am always there to listen to your problems. You haven't told
your family how I helped you pay your bills when you didn't have a high
paying job. do you really love me?"


So, I said I would share with my friends and family (for starters) just
how wonderful, perfect, understanding, patient, loving, unselfish,
considerate and forgiving GOD really is. He has blessed me with a family
that loves me and friends that I can confide in. But even more than
that, He has saved me from destruction I couldn't even see coming. He
gave to me the peace of knowing Him, and He has never broken a promise.
Truly He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I stand in
my stadium today to tell to you all, "I LOVE THE LORD!"
